Benefit for International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission

The more we work on Rights of Passage the less we take the right to freedom of expression for granted. Especially since Ed runs a theatre in San Francisco where it is possible to challenge the status quo and celebrate the creative spirit on stage.
During these early stages of Rights of Passage, we have been assisted by many amazing individuals and organizations who are united in the fight for LGBT equality in the US and around the globe. They continue their work tirelessly in an effort to eradicate persecution based on sexual orientation and to establish human rights for everyone.
To help a little in the larger struggle, the New Conservatory Theatre Center is adding three special “pay as you wish” benefit performances to its upcoming Summer Cabaret Series. Coming up first:

July 3, 2008 at 8pm, Katya: From Russia With Love, a Night of Song, Story and Vodka to benefit the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission - www.iglhrc.org.

Please note: All performances will take place at New Conservatory Theatre Center, 25 Van Ness at Market in San Francisco. TICKETS CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED at http://www.nctcsf.org/ or at 415-861-8972. Please do not attempt to purchase tickets from the beneficiary organization.
